As we enter the month of May, we remember that this is the month of Mary. This week the Closed Doors Choir voted to sing 'Let It Be' by The Beatles.
Sir Paul McCartney tells the story that at a difficult time in his life, his own mother (named Mary), visited him in a dream reminding him to 'let it be'. He stated that he gained much comfort from these words. However, many Christians interpret the lyrics to mean the Virgin Mary.
We turn to Mary in prayer asking for her to guide us and 'pray for us sinners'.
